Join co-hosts Fred Altvater and Carlos Torres as they check-in on the world of golf to bring you the latest news, insight, analysis, interviews, recaps and previews.

This week is a sad one for the world of sports and golf in particular with the passing of “The King,” Arnold Palmer. He has left a void that can never be replaced, and at The Back 9 Report, we celebrate his life and offer our Tribute, highlighting his life, accomplishments and thoughts from around the world to remember the sports’ greatest ambassador.

We also recap the PGA Tour’s season ending Tour Championship, in which Rory McIlroy put a brilliant end to what was a frustrating summer, by capturing both the Championship and the Cup, as well as, a cool $11.5 million. This is Ryder Cup Week at Hazeltine National in Chaska, MN, and we leave no stone unturned, with have a massive wall-to-wall preview on anything and everything Ryder Cup.

Finally, but certainly not least, our VIG (Very Important Guest) of the Week, is golf course architect Rees Jones, plus we will have commentary Kieran Clark on Arnie’s importance to European Golf, and Arnold’s Biographer, Jim Dodson, talks about the Arnie few knew.

Don’t miss it!
